God finally showed me the truth: everyone and everything had taken turns sitting on the throne of my heart — my husband, my kids, my mom, my church, even myself. What I never considered was: that throne was never meant for them. It belongs to God alone.

Hey friend. I am Christi Ratcliff — Certified Christian Life Coach and host of The Reclaimed Woman Podcast.
I was the capable Christian woman. I was homeschooling my boys, supporting my husband, serving my church, doing all the right things. Yet, I was angry, bitter, and spiritually bone dry. I could not tell you why.
In the summer of 2006, I did something radical. I sat on my back porch every single day for three months — Bible open, journal out, no agenda, no performance. Just me and God and my raw, unfiltered prayers. I cried. I wrote. I dug into Scripture. And then I cried more.

The first week of August, God showed me the truth I had been too busy to see: Everyone and everything had taken turns sitting on the throne of my heart. My husband. My kids. My mom. My church. Even myself. And that throne was never meant for them. It was God’s. I was so shocked by the simplicity of it. This is why I am angry? Yes. This is why I am spiritually empty? Yes. From there, everything changed. Not quickly. Not painlessly. But it changed.
I learned to go to God first before answering anyone. I learned that my yes is sacred and my no is sacred too. I learned that obedience is not restriction — it is freedom. I learned that surrender is not weakness — it is warfare. And God began opening doors for me to help other women do the same thing.
Through that fire, He built the KINGDOM Framework™ — a biblical pathway that has transformed the lives of women I have coached across the country.
